WELCOME TO WAILING WOMEN WORLDWIDE TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
The move of the WAILING WOMEN WORLDWIDE TRINIDAD & TOBAGO is essentially a call to prayer. It is the Lord Himself raising a global army of Spirit-filled women to labour in fervent intercession for the cleansing and unity of the universal church and the redemption of the nations of the world.
THIS CLARION CALL IS FOR
Women who will stand in the gap for their families, cities, nations and continents so that God’s ultimate purpose of reconciling and restoring the “old waste places” on earth may be achieved.
Women who will intercede worldwide to ensure that the “knowledge of the glory of God” actually “fills the earth as the waters cover the sea”. Habakkuk 2:14.
The call of the Wailing Women is contained in Jeremiah 9:17-21 (CJB)
17. Thus says Adonai – Tzva’ot (The Lord of hosts): “Mark this, then summon the mourning women, so that they will come; send for those who are best [at mourning], so that they will come.
18. Have them hurry and wail for us, so our eyes will be wet from crying, and our eyelids gush with tears.
19. For the sound of wailing is heard from Tziyon (Zion): ‘We are utterly ruined, we are completely ashamed, because we have left the land, and our homes have been torn down!’
20. ”You women, hear the word of Adonai! Let your ears receive the words from his mouth. Teach your daughters how to wail, have each teach her friend how to lament”
21. Death has come up through our windows, it has entered our palaces, it has cut down children in the streets and young people in the public places.”
A Global Army
Describing this global army, the prophet Joel said: “A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the Garden of Eden before them and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array” (Joel 2:3-5).
The vision for this work is global and membership is open to all true believing Christian women from all works of life, all strata of society and all races. At the global level there are 12 Co-coordinators that oversee the work. The emphasis is on teamwork and the ultimate aim is to equip servant leaders who can do God’s work God’s own way.
