Mandate of the Wailing Widows Caribbean

1. Seek, reach out to and evangelize widows throughout the Caribbean, teaching them the purpose of God for their lives.

2. To encourage each nation to seek out and nurture the widows in their region by sharing the experience with each other.

3. Bring widows into the sheltering fold of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ; and to unfold to them the wonderful privilege of being the “wives of their Maker” (Isaiah 54:5).

4. Break the siege of mediocrity over the widows and restore their dignity of widowhood.

5. Train and develop useful skills among the widows.

6. To develop a purposeful lifestyle of acknowledging the LORD as their Supplier, their Shield and Defender, and to make intercession on their behalf and that of their sister widows.

7. Empower widows to take their position in the place of prayers and supplications (Luke 2:36-37, 1 Timothy 5:5)

8. Teach their children to acknowledge God as their Father and depend solely on Him for their protection and total supply.

9. Wherever possible, reach out to widowers as well.
